Led the Samsung NA in-house Brand Studio. With a team of fulltime and freelance creatives, we created content for all of SEA’s digital and social channels, 837 window wraps and in-store displays. In this role I worked directly for the CMO (Wanda Young) and CCO (Jesse Coulter) of Samsung NA.
I started a small agency within a production company focused on branded content using the model of engagement drives awareness and awareness leads to lower funnel sales.
Alkemy’s offering of high quality commercial and original television production gave us the unique ability to concept and produce hyper targeted content for brands that audiences wanted to engage with.
I led the Samsung, AB InBev and JBL creative teams and was responsible for creating award-winning work while managing up to 20 copywriters, art directors and designers. Through strong collaborative relationships with clients, we were able to deliver targeted strategies and innovative creative that went beyond traditional above-the-line thinking.

I led a small team in NYC and Seoul to create a 360 campaign launching the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 5. I worked directly with Samsung Global CMO Pio Schunker to develop scripts and shoot 4 global spots for the launch.
My partner and I were a 2-man shop (not including operations). We worked directly with the Ruby Tuesday marketing team to develop year long strategies and creative platforms that engaged customers with 360 assets and multi-channel executions. We did everything from their national and regional TV spots, all the way down to creating the limited time offers menus used in-restaurant. A point of pride: we made RT sell out of chicken wings with a simple email blast.
I was part of a digital group that sought to engage consumers on social and .com channels. As this was the early days of social media we were constantly able to do things that had never been done before by using native functionality to give target audiences a way to “play” with our ads. Clients: Microsoft, Outback Steakhouse, Country Crock and Degree.
We also pitched and won the Microsoft Outlook.com business and delivered a 360 campaign that included 4 national spots to launch Outlook.com as the premier email and collaboration client.

After being recruited by then Global CCO Khai Meng, I worked on most of the Ogilvy client roster. I primarily wrote for digital and print campaigns on IKEA, SAP, CapriSun, KRAFT, American Express and Castrol.
